I began working with Lucie twice a week 4 months ago. I studied French on my own for a little over a year prior to the start of lessons with Lucie but, I had absolutely no confidence, especially with speaking. Now, I look forward to the start of lessons with a nice conversation in French. The lessons are fun and informative and are my favorite times of the week. During our time together, I speak, read, write, and listen. At my level, she speaks only French which is a perfect challenge. I am learning the rules of the language via fun games and exercises and gentle corrections when indicated. She is a wonderful teacher, patient and creative. For the first time, I believe I may achieve my goal of learning another language!

Highly recommend taking classes with Lucie! She’s great at tailoring the content to your individual needs, spotting areas you struggle with, explaining grammar and making it fun to learn. Lucie puts a lot of effort into the materials for class and has many ideas on how to motivate students. While I’m personally learning at a B2/C1 level with a view to improving my professional French, I’m sure she’s great for any French level!

Lucie is the best French tutor that I could ever find for my daughter. I needed someone who helps her be ready for her GCSE French tests but Lucie is not only teaching her all the necessary things for those tests, she is also teaching my daughter to improve all of her Skills in French: speaking, pronunciation, reading, grammar and writing.
