About the Lessons

Nowhere but your favourite chair. All my private French lessons are online, on Zoom, with the same link every time. I’ll send it when you book your free trial lesson. If you have an internet connection, you can learn French with me from anywhere.

Absolutely. I teach adults of all levels, from your very first “bonjour” to advanced conversation, including DELF and DALF exam preparation.

All lessons are one to one, so every minute is about you: your goals, your pace, your mistakes

60 minutes. Long enough to really talk, short enough to stay fresh.

Monday to Friday, between 9am and 7pm London time.
You pick the day and time, and it can change from week to week.

Not much:

  • A reliable internet connection
  • A computer or laptop with a webcam
  • A microphone or headset (the built-in one is fine)

No. Materials are included. I use authentic reading and listening materials instead of textbooks, and I share them with you in your own online folder (on Google Drive), so you can find everything in one place.

No. It’s your private space to try things out, get them wrong, and try again. Nobody is watching, and nothing is saved.

Your Free Trial Lesson

Yes. Your first one-hour lesson is free, with no commitment.

Think of it as a friendly first chat. We talk about why you want to learn French, I get a feel for your level, and you leave with a clear, personalised learning plan. Before we meet, I’ll send you a short questionnaire so we make the most of your time together.

Not at all. Tell me what you remember in the questionnaire, and I’ll work out the rest during the trial lesson.

Booking, Payment and Cancellations

Book your free trial lesson first. Then choose a package of 5, 10 or 20 hours.

Up to 2 months in advance, and as late as 24 hours before the start time. Booking early gives you the best choice of days and times.

Packages of 5 and 10 hours are valid for 3 months, and the 20-hour package for 6 months. Please use your lessons within this period.

Yes, free of charge, up to 24 hours before your lesson. You can choose any available slot in the next 2 months.

You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the start time. Within 24 hours, the lesson can’t be moved and counts as taken.

Lessons are paid for in advance, by card, in GBP. I don’t offer payment in instalments.

After my Lessons

Yes. Your personal folder (on Google Drive), where I share your materials during the lessons, stays available for 6 months after your last lesson, so you can come back to it whenever you like.

I can give you a statement showing the hours completed and the level reached. It’s not an official qualification.
If you need one, I can prepare you for the DELF or DALF exams, which are recognised worldwide.
